EASY FAMILY BEACH DAY SET UP

I don’t know about y’all, but for me, one of the most stressful parts of going to the beach with kids is the whole setup process.

As soon as we hit the sand, the kids are ready to dive into the ocean, while we’re still trying to claim our spot and get everything organized. It can feel like a race against time, and let’s be honest, trying to set up beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers while keeping an eye on the little ones is no easy task. Here are some of my must-have products and hacks that make a family beach day set up SO much easier!

PLASTIC BEACH TOY TUB

One of our go-to hacks to make this a bit easier is packing all our beach toys in a big plastic tub. As soon as we find our spot, we dump the toys out right next to where we’re setting up, then fill the tub with water from the ocean. This way, the kids can play right there in the water, close enough for us to keep an eye on them while we get everything sorted out. It’s a lifesaver, trust me.

BEST CABANA SET-UP EVER

Now, let me tell you about this fantastic beach cabana we found at Walmart. This thing is a total game-changer. It’s not just any cabana; it’s got all the bells and whistles you could dream of. First off, we found a beach blanket and a towel, both with a hole in the middle, to fit perfectly in the center of the cabana. This makes setting up super easy and keeps everything in place, so no more chasing after blankets that the wind decided to carry away.

One of my favorite features of this cabana is the movable wall. You can adjust it based on where the sun is to get some extra shade, which is perfect for those hot summer days when the sun is just beating down on you. It’s like having your own little slice of paradise right there on the beach.

TRANSFORMING BEACH WAGON

And let’s not forget about the wagon. You probably saw us pulling it along earlier, packed to the brim with all our beach gear. This thing is a lifesaver. It fits everything we need – from towels to snacks to sunscreen – and the best part? It transforms into a beach chair. Yep, you heard that right. Once we’ve got everything set up, we just fold it out, and bam, instant beach chair. It’s the coolest thing ever.
