SAND PUDDING RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
Instant vanilla pudding mix
Vanilla wafers
Peach rings
Teddy bear-shaped cookies
Sand buckets (available on Amazon)
Plastic shovels (come with the sand buckets)
INSTRUCTIONS:
PREPARE THE PUDDING: Start by making a batch of vanilla pudding according to the package instructions. Once it's done, set it aside.
CREATE THE “SAND”: Crush the vanilla wafers until they resemble sand. You can do this by pulsing them in a blender or placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or a bowl.
ASSEMBLE THE BUCKETS: Scoop the vanilla pudding into the sand buckets, filling them about three-quarters full.
ADD THE “SAND”: Sprinkle a generous layer of the crushed vanilla wafers on top of the pudding to create the look of sand.
DECORATE: Place a few peach rings on top to resemble life preservers. Add a teddy bear-shaped cookie to each bucket, positioning it to look like it's floating on a life preserver.
SERVE: Add the plastic shovels into the buckets for the kids to use as spoons. Not only does this make it easy to eat, but it also adds to the beachy fun!
And there you have it – a delightful and whimsical summer treat that's as fun to make as it is to eat. Your kids will love digging into their own little sand bucket and enjoying the sweet, creamy pudding inside. This sand pudding is perfect for beach-themed parties, summer picnics, or just as a special treat to enjoy on a sunny day. Happy summer snacking!
