As the holiday season approaches, I’m slowly turning our house into the North Pole! This year, I decided to transform our master bedroom into a cozy winter wonderland by creating a mini-wreath wall behind our bed. Here’s how I turned our room into the North Pole, one wreath at a time!

TURNING MY HOUSE INTO THE NORTH POLE: WREATH WALL

STEP 1: PLANNING THE MINI WREATH WALL

The idea for this festive feature came to me when I was brainstorming simple ways to add holiday flair to our bedroom. I wanted something easy to execute but impactful enough to feel like a statement piece. That’s when I settled on creating a mini wreath wall—mini wreaths, in particular, seemed like the perfect balance of charming and subtle.

To get started, I decided I needed 21 mini wreaths to cover the wall behind our bed. This would give the wall a lush, full look without overwhelming the space. After gathering the wreaths, I was ready to bring the vision to life!

STEP 2: PERSONALIZING THE MINI WREATHS

While the mini wreaths were super cute on their own, I thought they needed a little more holiday sparkle. So, I added ribbon and bells that I snipped off some wire Christmas tree decorations. The bells and ribbon really made each wreath a statement!

STEP 3: FIGURING OUT THE PERFECT SPACING

Once the wreaths were ready, I needed to figure out how to arrange them on the wall. I used Post-it notes to map out where I wanted each wreath to go. This step was essential for getting the spacing just right before committing to any hooks or nails. I played around with different arrangements and finally settled on a configuration that I loved.

STEP 4: HANGING THE WREATHS

With the spacing mapped out, I was ready to hang the wreaths. To avoid any damage to the walls and to make things super easy, I decided to use Command hooks. These were the perfect solution for this project—they are easy to apply, and they’ll allow me to remove everything without leaving any marks. I spaced the hooks according to my Post-it note layout, then hung each wreath on its hook.

STEP 5: FINISHING TOUCHES - CHRISTMAS BEDDING

No holiday bedroom is complete without the perfect bedding! To complete the North Pole vibe, I added a cozy set of Christmas-themed bedding. This is such a fun holiday tradition for any home, and the bedding perfectly complemented the wreath wall and brought the whole look together.

THE RESULT: A COZY NORTH POLE RETREAT

When everything was finally in place, the transformation was just what I had hoped! Our master bedroom now feels like a cozy winter retreat, with the mini wreath wall as the focal point. The addition of the bells brings a subtle jingle every time we walk past, which is just the right touch of holiday charm.

Turning our bedroom into the North Pole with a mini wreath wall and festive bedding was the perfect way to celebrate the season while keeping our space stylish and serene. This project was simple, fun, and filled with holiday cheer—and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!

If you’re looking to add some festive flair to your own space, this mini wreath wall is a great place to start. It’s an easy DIY project that will leave your home feeling merry and bright all season long. Follow along for the rest of my quest to turn my home into the North Pole for Christmas!
